This Hyndland apartment is perfect for a city break and is located a 3 minute walk away from the West End's bustling Byres Road and Ashton Lane where you can check out the unique shops before grabbing a coffee or head to some of Glasgow's finest restaurants and then to a cocktail bar. The apartment is served by a bus stop 200m along the road and 2 subway stations within 5 minutes walk which allow you to quickly travel directly into the city centre and explore the famous Buchanan Street and many of Glasgow's fine museums. The flat is ideal for anyone visiting Glasgow during the 2014 Commonwealth Games as Kelvingrove Park which hosts the Lawn Bowls is only 1 mile away while the Scoutstoun stadium the newly built Hydro and the SECC are also very close by. Glasgow is home to a fantastic public transport system including trains subways and buses which allow to easy access to the other Games' venues and I am more than happy to advise on how to best get to specific places. For those who will have use of a car the stunning shores of Loch Lomond are not to be missed and can be reached in 30-40minutes. Glasgow Airport is 15 minutes drive away which is approximately ยฃ12-15 in a taxi. The airport bus also takes you within 300m of the apartment.
