A two bedroom cottage built in the 50's separate bathroom & toilet shower over the bath bathroom & kitchen although not modern are very functional timber & tile floors throughout verandah with barbecue gazebo with table & chairs for 6 carport attached to the house very private.

We are situated just one street back from the beach with a National park a short walk away Burleigh shops are within walking distance where you will find some lovely restaurants & coffee shops plus some unique clothing & gift shops. There is also a centre a 1 km away where you will find Woolworths & Aldi for your food shopping needs. The bus stop is at the end of the street which gives you a straight forward ride to Broadbeach where you can pick up the tram to take you into Surfers Paradise & beyond to other Games venues also at Broadbeach is a large shopping centre called Pacific Fair. Gold Coast airport is only 8 ks away train station 4 ks Brisbane is an hour by car or you can take the train the train also goes to & from Brisbane airport. Currumbin Sanctuary is about 4 ks away a great place to see Australian wildlife.

Chris & I have lived on the Gold Coast for 28 years I am originally from the UK lived in NZ for 19 years that's where I met Chris we have two children & four Grandchildren we just love the Gold Coast & all it has to offer. We had hairdressing businesses for 30 years semi -retired in 2000 when we did a trip around Australia in a caravan best thing we ever did. Did part-time work for a few years on our return but fully retired 8 years ago. we like to keep active with lots of walking biking ( we cheat a bit there now as we have electric bikes) excercise classes I like my craft & Chris enjoys woodworking.
