I’m Jonathan a long-time wanderer who has finally washed up happily in Glasgow. After years of running around Afghanistan Sudan Cambodia and a few other places where “hotel” meant anything from a tent to a mud hut I now get great pleasure from welcoming people to something far more comfortable — my own place in Scotland’s friendliest city. I love sharing the Glasgow I’ve come to know: the cafés hidden corners and riverside walks that are a bit different from the dusty compounds and checkpoints of my past. Having stayed in some truly remarkable Airbnbs I know how much a warm welcome matters. So whether you’re here to compete in the Commonwealth Games spectate work or going with the flow enjoying a dram and a wander along the way I look forward to greeting you in a city that has adopted me — and might just adopt you too.
