From Sydney 2000 to Brisbane 2032

The idea behind Sport Events Rent My House began around the Sydney 2000 Games, when I saw the challenge of accommodating the large number of visitors travelling to major sporting events — and the opportunity for local homeowners to help meet that demand.

That idea led me to develop LondonRentMyHouse.com in 2008, specifically to connect homeowners with visitors looking for private accommodation during the London 2012 Games.

The experience ultimately led to SportEventsRentMyHouse.com — an independent accommodation marketplace designed to connect homeowners with visitors attending major sporting events.

Brisbane 2032 is the next major sporting event we're supporting, giving Queensland homeowners an opportunity to make their homes available to visitors, media, volunteers and others travelling to the Games.
